Information we handle

When you contact us

When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, which may include your name, business email, company, role, country, inquiry type and message. Our contact form prepares an email in your own email app; your inquiry reaches us only when you send that email to hello@nuvestapharma.com. We also receive the details that come with any email, such as your address, the date and your signature.

When you visit the website

Our hosting provider records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request, to deliver the website and keep it secure. Google Analytics also collects information about how visitors use the website, as described under Cookies and analytics.

What not to send us

Please do not send patient information, medical questions, confidential dossiers or technical documents, customer lists, contracts or payment details through the website or by email.

Why we handle it

We use this information to:

  • review and respond to business inquiries;
  • communicate about potential commercial relationships and keep relevant correspondence;
  • operate, secure and improve the website, including understanding how visitors use it.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and running the website, and on your consent for analytics cookies where consent is required. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use inquiry information for advertising.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers that handle personal data on our behalf: our website hosting provider, our email provider, which hosts our mailboxes, and Google, which provides Google Analytics. They may use the data only to provide their services to us.

If we discuss a potential commercial relationship with you, we share your details with a manufacturer or distributor only with your agreement. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

Retention and international processing

We keep inquiry emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If a commercial relationship follows, we keep the related correspondence for as long as the relationship lasts and for as long as the law requires afterward. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Nuvesta Pharma Inc. is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use contractual or other appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, for example which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies, such as _ga, that can remain on your device for up to two years. We do not use advertising cookies.

Where your consent is required, we ask for it before analytics cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Your requests

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent you have given.

To make a request, write to privacy@nuvestapharma.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days. You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
